You enter a report code on most registers and it will allow you to print many types of reports. Most instructions are here:

SOURCE: Casio Register 265P - Doubling Tax in Sales Total

Hi.
That could be tricky. we will need to go through the tax setup in your machine.

My first questions are:

1. Does it happen on all department (item buttons)?
2. Does it happen no matter what payment method you use (cash, check, credit)?
3. When you push Subtotal, does it show the wrong amount then, or only when you press a payment type to open the drawer?

SOURCE: HOw do I print out a daily, only, report of

It depends which brand and model. Most have a Z1 and Z2 position. If you want a daily, turn to Z or Z1, not Z2. If you want more info, let me know the brand and model

SOURCE: Year end reports count sales receipts and deposits twice

The income is registered in the sales receipt. The money received is in an account called "undeposited funds". When you make a deposit you tranfer from undeposited funds to the bank account. See deposit help in QuickBooks

My total sale is $101.65. I collected 6.25% sales tax. What is the formula to find out the portion of the total is the sales tax total?

Partly this is a matter of interpretation. If $101.65 is seen as 100% then sales tax is
$101.65 x 6.25 / 100 = $6.35

However there is a flaw in this. The remainder (the sale price) is
$101.65 - $6.35 = $95.30

So what was the sales tax on this remainder?
6.35 / 95.30 x 100 = 6.67%........too much

So we should regard the $ total as 106.25% not 100%. Then the amount which was sales tax is really
$101.65 x 6.25 / 106.25 = $5.98

How do i get manager reading on my er a330

I think you mean your end-of-day money totals:
Turn the key to X1/Z1
Touch the decimal point, then the CA/AT/NS (CAsh, Amount Tendered, No Sale) button - or maybe it's just CA/AT on the -A330.
It will print out a Z reading: the day's sales totals and clear them back to zero, except the Grand Totals at the top of the tape.
If you skip the decimal point it will print an X reading: the same tape, but will not clear the totals, so they can continue building. You can print an X tape several times a day if you're curious about sales, so far, without messing up anything.
I talk about Z totals as a daily total, but they accumulate for as long as you let them, before taking a Z reading. It is only a daily report as long as you take it daily, as most business owners do.

We are using a Sharp XE-202 cash register. Is it set up to give you the total tax collected each day?

Yes. As long as the tax has been set to your product buttons, you should see tax totals on the standard report in X1/Z1 mode

Service tax calculated and reports

You will get to buy the standard sofwares for commuting the sales tax values. This sofware must be installed so that you will get all the reports as required by your tax authority. Please ask any of the sofware dealers in your area, or the tally dealer to install to yourr system the software and teach you how to enter the fields.
Hope you try this out. Good day

TE-4000F internal programming

It sounds like it may not be a big problem. You don't need any software to program it. you can program straight from the keyboard. As for reporting software, I have used a couple of the Casio ones and had no success. The only one that seemed to work was Astute Till manager / stock manager. Firstly, if the sale looks normal on each receipt (taxes add up correctly etc) then it is likely that you are reading the report incorrectly. Otherwise, there are bit switches to program the machine to treat gross and net differently for various reports, so this may need adjusting. If you can explain which parts of the daily report are incorrect, and roughly by how much, I'll try to help further.
If you do want to get the manuals, c-tech has the full lot here (including dealers manual): http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio4.php

Grand Total Clear z/1 z/2

Hi. On most machines, the Grand total is non resettable and is just ignored if you don't want to track the total sales of the machine long-term. It should not affect the daily totals. The rest of the report should reset at the end of the day. If you don't see CASH totals and departments etc returning to zero, then there is another problem. If you still want to try to stop the GT on the reports, tell me the brand and model number and I'll see if it can be forced from the report.
