Tablet touch screen is only cracked on the top right corner. What can i use to get the screen to respond to touch on the lower half of the screen?

You may have only cracked the top corner , but if the lower part of the screen is not responding then you have also damaged your digitizer. A replacement of the screen and the digitizer may be necessary.

I have several large water spots on the lower right corner of the tv from overspray with windex. Can this be fixed?

Not a good idea to clean tv with windex. Try wet towel dipped in mild soap solution. Make sure all water has been removed and towel is only wet. When tv off, try removing the spots. Turn tv on only after tv dry.

Spots look like water damage. They are irregular and inky in appearance. Location of shading along upper right and lower left edge of screen.

If the spots look like ink, the display panel is broken. To fix this problem, you have to replace the display panel with a new one.

Water spill on my AOC2216Vw LCD Monitor

Hey man, thanks for coming to me. Um yea, massaging may help but too hard will do damage since it is LCD is Liquid Crystal Display and it is fragile and easy to damage. The water should clear up in a few months, if not i would look at replacing it which can be costly. Here is a link to fix your unstuck pixels

Now im not liking that bit about how you mentioned was spreading so leave it for about two days, give the therapy for the screen a try and let me know if the laptop screen is healing. For the moment if you have one i recommend you hook up a VGA Monitor, old school stuff if you can and give the LCD a rest. I will post as a solution but comment back and i will keep helping you as much as you need it.

Please do't do anything. Just let it dry completely, preferably in the sun. Do'nt switch it on before it is dry.

Black spot on lower part of screen.

Sounds like the LCD is damaged, it's commonly called a bruise. It can only happen when too much force is applied to the screen causing irreparable damage to the LCD crystals, causing them appear darker than the rest.

There is a picture here on the second post down.

Screen wont flash

It seems there is either an internal false contact in the LCD screen connector to in the mainboard, or moisture/water damage in it.

It is necessary to open to check it.

It requires a very skillful person to do it. If you have not experience with fixing electronic devices, then I do suggest you to send it to repair.

Besides that is necessary to open it, if is not done properly with the right tools, it's easy to damage the LCD screen assembly.

Also, if it's not opened right, is possible to damage permanently the mainboard if is bent or warped.

If still you want to proceed to open it, it will be easy to spot if the connector of the LCD screen is not firmly attached, or if there is residues of water damage (usually green or white dust spread in several parts of the electronics, causing electrical shorts).

No audio in right ear unless you press on the lower left corner of screen

Has your ipod been dropped/sat on/run over??

Normally I'd think it was the headphone socket, however if your LCD is leaking and you are having problems with with volume I think your ipod has suffered an impact which has damaged the logic board.

The bad news is logic boards, while easy to source, are quite an expensive part. If you are not bothered about replacing your LCD I would suggest buy an ipod off ebay with a broken screen and take the logic board out of that, it should work out quite a bit cheaper and of course when you will have a hard drive and a casing left over from the scrap ipod to resell.

To open your ipod use two small flat bladed screwdrivers inserted between the metal shell and the plastic top of the ipod and gently prise apart. Once inside, all the major components are connected with ribbon cables, there is no soldering involved replacing a logic board. Some of these cables are quite fiddly though and the connectors are easy to damage so if you are not confident doing this I'd suggest getting it repaired by a pro.
