Question about Dell Dimension 2400 PC Desktop
Almost as if the display does not get power...
Most laptop screens connect to the motherboard(and therefore to power) through a small cable which generally runs very close to the hinge on the right hand side.
This cable can come loose.
If your laptop appears ok in all other ways this might be the issue.
Just plug a normal monitor into the back and youll see if the laptop itself is working ok.
To reseat this cable involves opening up your laptop, which I wouldnt recommend if it is still in warranty or if you're not too sure of yourself
