Those are tourist knickknack sculptures from Indonesia, and do not have a specific name. They are manufactured in quantity by the locals for sale to tourists.

What type of puzzle is it do you have a brand name I have done one that was a 3D style but with plastic pieces and it was about 18 inches tall. I started with the head which were the easiest pieces to determine and then worked my way down hope this helps!!
I tried to locate the manual with google, and had success. You could ask like here. The services are not for free, but most times worthy - saved my live more than once.
