connect your phone to your laptop, if you are running window vista you need to have window mobile device center 6.1 installed( free download from microsoft.com) if you have xp you need microsoft activesync 4.5. once you have that installed on your phone click on start and internet sharing. hit connect on the bottom and your done. * active sync does not have to be on while you are tethering just installed.

I currently cant get Att communication manager to recognize the phone is tethered, but i currently have my xp pro sp3 recognize the driver of the lg xenon.
From the main (touch) screen click on the 4 dots (menu)>then the gear (settings)>then select the gear that says "more +"> select connection (should be first option)>select "USB connection"> select "Data Service". NOW you plug in the data cable (dont plug it in before you do this!) and windows should auto pick up the driver for you.
My ONLY problem is getting the ATT communication manager to recognize the phone. it simply says "No wireless device detected". which is garbage because the device manager has no missing drivers and i saw the driver physically installed. anyone else having this problem too???

Probably not, for two reasons:
1. Tethering usually involves use of a PC or other device which has software to enable the tethering on the phone.
2. Even if you were able to get this working by sharing a connection from a PC to a router or other network hardware, you run into an issue of latency. A hard wired connection such as a cable or DSL modem has very low latency, where a 3G connection isn't quite as quick to react.. Think of latency as a "reaction time". When playing an action game, latency means that there will be a delay before your action is seen by other players, and also a delay before their actions are seen by you. Even if that latency is only 100 ms (1/10 of a second), it still isn't quick enough to provide a realistic interactive environment.
I hope this helps to answer your question.

The LG KC910 has the Android operating system. The Android OS does not include the tethering application required for using your phone as a modem.
You will need to download 'PdaNet for Android' to tether your LG KC910 to your PC.
You can download the program from this link - it's free to try but you'll have to purchase it to be able to access secure websites.
