Generic problem for all Bosch Washing Machines

Flashing 'Active' light

Half way through any wash the machine stops and the 'active' light is flashing. Repressing 'start' continues the wash. Done everything the manual says, checked water inlet filters for scale, made sure no pipes are narrowed and thoroughly cleaned detergent dispenser drawer. Any ideas??? Thanks Pam
