Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
First of all, many greetings from Italy.
I would like to take the little two pipes out from the waste ink to wash the absorber but i'm not sure if I'm doing what it should be done.
I really need you to help me-if you can- to enable my printer canon mp 830 to work again.
Tell me if Im correct:
The waste ink should be on the right side of the printer under the printer head. Am I correct?
Well, I lifted a robber pad from which two little pipes come from but I do not understand where these pipes end up... Where is the absorber? Do I have to pull them outside? Do I risk to damage the printer irreversibly? Please tell me where I am wrong.
Thank you Thank you Thank you.
Greetings, that is not the ink absorber. The absorber is a set of pads covering the whole bottom of the printer. The entire print engine has to be removed in order to replace them. They will fall apart if you try to clean them and after changing them you need to get into diagnostic mode to reset the counter.
