How to get grand total of the month on sharp cash register ER-2385

I can't believe we still have a book for this one - the ER2385 began production in 1987!
Most business owners take their totals daily. You probably have, too, by turning the key to Z1 and touching
. CA/AT (I hope you can the decimal point in front of the CA/AT. It's essential.)
To take monthly totals, do exactly the same thing, but in the X2/Z2 position.
Note that these totals are monthly only because you print them monthly. If you do it every Saturday night, you'll get weekly totals. The register prints totals that have accumulated since the last time you took a Z2 reading. It's up to you to make them monthly by taking them monthly.
So, on January 31 take your usual nightly total, then the Z2 total. Taking the daily one first ensures that today is included in the month.
Skipping the decimal point before the CA/AT will give you an X2 total. The same numbers will be printed, but they won't be cleared back to zero. That's fine if you want to see your totals so far, without messing them up, but if you forget it at the end of January, then February's totals will include both months. The same rule applies to daily totals. Use the decimal point if you want the numbers cleared.
While the CA/AT key gives the familiar department totals, other readings are available.
PLU gives your PLU totals, if you use them. (X1 and Z1 only)
#/TM gives totals for each hour of the day (X1 and Z1 only)
SBTL gives a total for each day of the month (X2/Z2 only)

How to grand total of the month on sharp cash register ER-2385

That is a very old machine. It might not have enough memory for two Z reports. if it has a Z2 position, turn the key to Z2 and press CASH (if it is marked X2/Z2, press decimal point before cash). Note: If you have never used the second report it will have a large total built up. you will need to reset it as above to clear it and then it will be correct from the next month onwards.

I owe you $5.00 - how do I pay it using Paypal?

When does FixYa issue payments to Experts? At the start of each month, FixYa calculates your total Premium Assistance earnings for the previous month. If your earnings total $50 or more, FixYa notifies your selected Payment provider (Payoneer or PayPal) of your pending earnings payment by the 3rd business day of the next month.

Note: If your earnings total less than $50 for the month, they remain in your FixYa account and are added into the next month's earnings.

Excel question

You can import data from one sheet to another. If you want to bring a total from Sheet 1 to Sheet 2, then in Sheet 2 enter [=sheetname!cell] (without the brackets of course. You will now have the data from Sheet 1 in a cell in Sheet 2 and you can do anything you want with it. One note: if the sheet name has a space in it (Sheet Name) you have to enclose the name in single quotes; that tells it that the whole thing is the name. For example, Monthly Sales, A10 is the total for last month; to put it in this month for a running total, you would enter in Sheet 2 ['Monthly Sales'!A10] (without the brackets again). Now you can have a running total between the two sheets.

Garmin 305

When the memory in the watch is full detail (ie mapping points) of the earliest runs are deleted but the aggregate data (eg total distance/time etc) is retained. If you want to save the mapping points you need to download it to a PC fairly soon after doing the run (depending of course on how much you use the 305). Although you can use the Training Centre software supplied with the 305 I prefer sporttracks which is a third party donate-ware application which many users find to be much better than TC.
