Don't turn the key before finishing in the last mode. Turn the key back to where it was before and it will stop the error. Then finish what you started. Eg finish a sale in REG mode or a report in Z mode.

It means you didn't finish in the other mode before you turned the key. You need to turn the key back to where you were (presumably prog mode) and finish the programming. It sounds like you have a Casio, so you would press SUBTOTAL to end programming before moving to REG mode. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Error e001


E001 error is the generic Wrong Mode error message on the Casio tills.

It simply means that a transaction was started in one mode without being finished before the key was turned to a different.

Return the key to the mode you were in before, complete the transaction then try turning the key.

If you keep getting the error turn the X and press SBTL.

You are in the wrong mode. Turn the key until the message goes away and that will show you which mode you should be in.

WRONG MODE E001


This is a Casio error which means you have turned the key without finishing the task you started. you must turn the key back to the last position it was in, and finish in that mode before turning the key to another mode.

E0001 shows up and till freezes


Depends which brand and model. Usually means you pressed a wrong button, or turned the key before you finished. Try finishing in another mode before turning the key
