The hard drive will be full so you will need to transfer all your videos to your PC then format the hard drive in the camera's menu, make sure the SD card is removed before you format it.

Remove the SD memory card from the camera, go into menu and locate "format" follow the prompt to remove all photo's from the internal memory, when completed install the SD card back in the camera to resume normal operation.

I recommend going back to whoever changed your battery and asking them to get the proper setup sd card from your manufacturer. Make sure they agree that they caused the problem (get it in writing, signed and dated.) and then under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act you wont be liable for the cost to get your system going again.
