Read the fine print on the repair ticket you signed. They should have at least contacted you for a resolution before they recycled it.

No docket just text message. I even offered to pay storage fees till I got back.

OK. You have rights. If you didn't sign a repair ticket, there is no contract. Contact the consumer affairs office in your city or start making noises at your local TV station. Bad publicity usually fixes the problem quickly.

The motherboard is fried due to a family member sticking a tooth pick in the charging port, where can i get the Gateway MT6705 Fixed like new even if i have to pay out of pocket. As in all broken parts...

Contact Gateway for advice and a list of dealers in your area.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers, for spare parts and service, Driver downloads and Installation Instructions as required.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

I hope this helps.

Deleted stuff from recycle bin

Unfortunately no, once the recycle bin is deleted, it removes the files entirely. If the files are very important to you, there's a small chance that they could still be retrieved, but you would have to seek assistance from a Data Recovery service specialist in your area. There are some programs out there that you could purchase as well, that may be able to recover deleted files as well, and would be much cheaper than a data recovery service would, but there's also no guarantee through either of those methods if the results would be successful. My only suggestion at this point, if you want to increase the chances of the data being recovered, is to try and keep your computer as unused as possible, don't add or remove files, don't put stuff in the recycle bin. The reason I say this, is that files, even after their deleted, may leave remnant information behind on the hard drive platters themselves, and if you overwrite those specific sectors with more information, the leftovers usually get written over as well, thus being lost for good. Hope this helps!
