SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I've been locked out from my account for over 40 minutes, I called and 3 peopel hang up on me already

What account? You are clearly posting to Fixya so you are not locked out of that account. As to phone calls, Fixya operates by text. If you are referring to 6ya, the pay service where you can talk to an expert for 6 minutes about a particular problem, you should address your queries about that via contact information on the 6ya help page. Perhaps you don't understand the 6ya process and should read its help page. That 6 minutes basically provides time for an assessment whether you can do the fix yourself or will need a service center. The expert you are talking to there has a minimum of two years paid experience prior to being accepted by 6ya to be available to offer advice. Neither 6ya nor Fixya are repair centres, i. e. facilities where you might send broken equipment for repair.

The services are informational. And Fixya offers free information from unpaid volunteers. That does not mean volunteers have no expertise! It simply means they have not availed themselves of opportunity to be paid via 6ya. You get a free ride, in other words. But there is no phone contact with Fixya, rather that is with 6ya.

How do i up grade. My Samsung phone

If you are talking about internal memory then you should bring the phone to an expert store but i do not suggest it because between the new memory and labour it will cost you a bit less then a new better phone with larger memory!

Engine has a broken timing chain, how do i fix it?

This is a long invovled proccess and needs to be done right. Space does not allow me to type out the entire procedure here and I have been denied Expert statis at this point because some of my answers have been too brief according to FIXYA staff. I would suggest you may want to consult an FIXYA expert to have it fully explained. Until I am an "Expert" that's all I can do. Since I like to talk vehicle repair and have been doing it for more than 40 yrs, I will continue for the time being to give my advice for free.

Why do i have to pay to talk to expert

When you have any problem regarding any device like phone, camera etc. and you use Fixya the Experts will help you to get your problem solved.
If you are satisfied with the assistance then the Expert will get the money paid by you and if not then you will get a refund of the money.

This is why you are charged to talk to Experts as Fixya is not a free website.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for using Fixya.
Good luck and have a nice day.

I needed to change my harddisk & now i cannot start my windows since my disk is not usable anymore i do have an restore plus cd and a operating system disk but it keep saying that is doesnt work with...

Hi awasis,

If cost isn't an issue get a new hard drive, they are going pretty cheap nowadays. However, if cost is an issue you may have to reformat that drive. I really can't go into what's involved with that here. For one, I don't know your comfort level for working in DOS. You need to run fdisk in the DOS environment to format your drive. I would highly suggest you get some premium help here at so an expert can talk to you in relative real time. Sorry I don't have better news for you.

Thank you for using

Sincerely, cyyyd7
