I can use the phone on an o2 sim but i cant access the internet because it is still on vodafone live can you help

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
Actually Internet is accessible through GPRS Settings. Usually activating GPRS on your phones are done by the service providers, and different service providers have different configurations. Additionally, the settings for GPRS vary based on the different phones and phone models. As activation is required before setting up you should know that activation process vary from one provider to other. It could be as simple as sending an SMS to a particular number or calling customer care of that particular service provider. Once the activation is taken care of, the setting of the GPRS is done based on the model of the phone.
It is important to note here that the setting for GPRS is different for different phones companies and may be different even for the different models produced by these companies. Therefore, it is recommended that you rely on the information given directly from the service provider. Again activation process may be different for postpaid and prepaid customers.

As you told that phone is still on Vodafone Live so may be the setting of GPRS are configured for Vodafone Live but as you are using O2 network so you need to configure GPRS Settings for O2.Simply just call or go to O2 Service Providers and demand GPRS(Internet) settings for your mobile Samsung SGH G600, If you will call they will send it free and also the configuration process and if you will go they will configured settings themselves.
Your problem will be solved.
I hope this solution helps you and you have clear picture in your mind
Let me know if you have any confusion in your mind.

Sir, Your Rating as Five Stars for this solution and Words of appreciation as Feedback for me will be really esteemed
Thank You for taking my service

I cant seem to be able to set up the internet on KA08

Setting Up Your Internet Settings On The KA08: Manysellers will ask you which carrier you are going to use and will sendyou the corresponding phone. If this happens, you just need anactivated sim with data (as described above) and you're good to go. Sometimes, this doesn't happen though. So, if this is your case, you'll need to go into the settings. Because occasionally, you'll getthe factory settings and you'll see that your phone is pointing toChina Mobile or something similar. There is no need for panic. Justgo into the WAP settings, data settings, Java, and MMS settings, scrolldown and hit edit. Find the correct settings either through yourcarrier or by buying or getting the step by step instructions orsoftware that are available all over the net (usually for only a coupleof bucks.) You can either follow along step by step entering the datain (and always remember to then hit "activate") or you can downloadsoftware that does the work for you. Either way, you should be up andrunning in no time. (Note: if you're using Opera Mini, you must go inand also change the Java settings. If you don't you'll keep getting anerror message.)

Internet trouble

Since CECT P168 is china mobile you have to get the internet settings done from your near service provider centre(vodafone mobile store if vodafone).

'gprs not subscribed':   it specifies that you have gprs actviated on your sim but you dont have right internet settings on your mobile or china mobile.

so in order to get internet setting take your mobile to the nearest service provide centre(for eg; vodafone mobile store) they will make some internet settings on your mobile and from then you can use your internet, but make sure that you min balance in mobile to surf internet.....

in the case of branded mobiles(like nokia, samsung,......) it is just enough to send a msg from ur mobile  and get internet settings on our mobiles but this is not in case of china mobile(you have to go the nearest centre and get it done.........)

I just bought an i 9 cect phone touchscreen...i cant connect to the internet or send or recieve mms messages...i dont know how to set up my network settings for it to work..and AT&T cant help either

let me give u an example, if you have an nokia, by sending a message to your service provider(vodafone..,.) you will get gprs setting and you can use internet from then but,

in case of china mobile it is not the case, you cant send any msg from ur mobile(as u do in case of branded mobiles) so, you have to got nearest centre of service provider(vodafone mobile store, if vodafone) and they will make some settings in your phone , immedately they will activate gprs on your phone(otherwise ask them to activate gprs then and there itself)

then you will be able to surf internet on your mobile .........

Thanking you
