Question about Nortel T7316E 2-Line Corded Phone
I AM TRYING TO RESET A VM PASSWORD ON A NORTEL T7316E. WE USE 3 DIGIT EXT NUMBERS. WHEN I ENTER 1020000 IT SAYS INVAILD PASSWORD. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS?
Are you trying to enter the VM system by using FEATURE983?
When you have 3 digit extensions, you need to use 102 like you have tried. The password part of the login is the 0000. Someone must have changed it from the default 0000 to something else. Try 102**** where the **** is some other common password that you might use such as 1111, 2222, 1234 or others like that.
