Its usually a simple ''belt'' that rely the head to a motor. Open it, replace it and if its damaged, go to your nearest electronic parts broker, he will sell you a tape deck belt for it. Sometimes rubberband might be okay too...

Check to see if there is a re-set for the system. There also may be an internal fuse.

Why doesn't my spectra troubleshooting LL 500 receiver read the laser it does not beep or notifies (HL 7000 receiver it was working just fine when all of sudden it stop beeping

Try another receiver. If the laser works with the other receiver, then it is the receiver. There is no repair for these receivers, save for cleaning the contacts and circuit board, if moisture gets is. They have a 3 year replacement warranty.
If another receiver doesn't fair any better, then your laser is either putting out no beam, or not the right beam. The laser diode could have failed, or the diode has become unfocused. If this is the case, bring it to a technician to be fully diagnosed.

Laser won't turn on.

Could be alot of things. Bad batteries, bad battery contacts. Dead main board, dead compensator.
Clean the battery contacts with acetone and a qtip. in the battery compartment and on the battery door, and install fresh batteries. Good ones, Duracell preferably. If it still wont turn on, you'll need to take it somewhere. Trimble, in their grand wisdom made it so you have to remove the decal on the front, to open the laser. So, that will need replacement even if nothing else does.

The off level light doesn't turn off therefore doesn't level at all,

Your vial and compensator no longer match up. Move the foot screws until you can get your laser to spin, then adjust your leveling vial until it reads level again, using the 3 screws holding the vial inplace.

Laser is level but out of level light blinks and will not spin

Your compensator and leveling vial are no longer aligned. Use your foot screws to find a place where the laser spins, then use the 3 hex head screws on the vial, to adjust it to read level.

Resetting LL500 SPECTRA PRECISION LAZER

If you mean you cant level the laser, there are 3 T15 torx screws that hold the base assy into the laser, accessible through 3 holes in the base plate. Unscrew the three screws and remove the base, and disassemble it, clean all the dirt out and relubricate the base with a heavy silicone lube. Reassemble and it should all move smoothly.

If you mean something else, please specify

How to calibrate spectra precision ll500 laser

There are two brass screws under the upper most metal plate. They are the calibration adjustment screws. The manual tells you how to do a peg test. If your peg test is out, move the corresponding screw until you reach the calibration point you want.
