Hi Don't connect the phone before this procedure: First, you need to download the LG Mobile support tool on your PC. Install the 'USB driver' and select the models update. Use the USB cable to connect your phone to the PC now. Click on start updating.
it recognize it as a storage device. when its plugged in if it shows an external device or unrecognized device found you have to download the software to connect it . try to download it via www.piratesbay.com as there are more software's . make sure you type your model no when searching to download
The problem is the USB hub, this often leads to a proper signal routing, as it splits the signals to smaller data packets. Remove the hub and all other USB ports. Let then newly recognize the PC your USB connection (not via Hub!).
Please try connecting your phone to a different USB port other than the one which you use normally. If the issue is the same then try connecting it to another PC if you still face the problem then it is a hardware issue.Either your phone or the USB cable is gone bad.So replace the USB cable first with a new one and then try connecting. If the issue is till the same then it is your phone and you will have to get it repaired or get it replaced if it is under warranty.
Please discard that the USB port or the USB cable are defective. You can do it if you try to hook your camera in other personal computer using the same USB cable. If it works, then follow the next instructions.
Connect your camera to the PC thru the USB cable and turn it on.
If you are using Windows, go to the Control panel - System - Hardware - Devices - and check if there is any device that was not recognized by Windows. Such devices are marked with a yellow question mark.
If so, get into the device item and with right mouse click, select to update the device driver.
If there was not unrecognized device, then you can unistall your USB port driver and then run a change hardware status to recognize the USB port again, then run the update driver routine.
