Frigidaire atf7000fs washer
error e20, slow to drain frigidaire atf7000fs
it does drain, takes a long time.
is there a screen or ?? to clean for pump inlet?
I've got the same washer. Why they had to make it one piece is a puzzle, other than it's Frigidaire.
You've got to remove the four screws at the bottom. Then take off the top be removing the two screws at the back of the top. Now revove the soap dispenser. You'll find three more screws to take out in that compartment. Remove the two screws holding the plastic control panel ... just the ones holding the white plastic. There are a couple more screws near the top of the front panel. Remove those, and the front panel will slide up and off. Okay, there are some wires attached to the door ssitch. You're probably safer to remove the switch or at least the wires unless you're very careful not to pull them loose or break them when you're fighting with the pum and hoses.
Hi there,
probably has something stuck in the electric drain pump happens alot on frigidaire washers it is accessable after removing front lower acess panel tilt washer back after pulling it from the wall the drain pump will be just right of center at the front use a pan to catch any water that will come out you can either remove the 2 drain hoses to clear obstruction or you can unscrew pump motor from pump body
Good Luck!!
Thanks.
I need to remove front panel to get to the coin/filter/trap thing. The filter that filters used/dirty water before it enters the pump. The front panel is all 1 piece, except for the door. There are no screws visible, it does not have the older 2 piece design, like a "kick" panel. I have the actual parts breakdown that shows every part but it is impossible to see exactly what comes off it what order.
Hello - The error code "E20" typically means the water is not draining properly or not pumping out fast enough. Does the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose may be kinked or the drain in the house is clogged. Once you have confirmed and cleaned the hose and issue continues contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a faulty pump or control board.
