Replacing front wheel

The stroller seems to be out of alignment and the front wheel came off one time so when I placed it back, it's always shaking when I go first.

One wheel doesnt seem to brake when i put the lever on. it slips and makes a rattle sound. the other side catches on the wheel no problem

This is a common problem with the bugaboo's The brakes use a toothed brake shoe to fit in to a toothed inner rim, What happens is one shoe seems to alway fit into the toothed rim but while the other side always hits the top of the teeth causing the shoes and connecting rod to twist. Eventually you get the problem you describe. The brakes shoes are interconnected by an aluminum rod. The shoes have two splines that fit into slots in the rod and a phillips screw to lock them in. First try taking the back wheels off and getting a strong man to hold the shoe that doest lock while pulling the one that does back in to alignment. This quite often works. If the twist is to much I remove one shoe cut off the splines turn the shoe to align with the other shoe then drill a new hole for the locking screw.

It seems like the front wheel of the Quinney Buzz 3 stroller is always "stuck" and won't align properly in a straight position. Therefore, my stroller often times cannot go striaght/is hard...

Good Evening

The cause for this is a build up of dirt and grime. Your Quinny Buzz should be regularly cleaned and maintained in order to keep it operating smoothy. We have a Handy Hint guide for cleaning of the front wheel of the Quinny Buzz 3 if you're in the UK follow this link:!/photo.php?fbid=112250802185796&set=a.112250718852471.18255.104570846287125&type=1&theater

Our stroller shakes when pushing forward (very badly - would shake the baby out of the stroller if we had her in it), but if you pull the stroller back it appears to cease shaking. Is there something...

You don't mention what make / model you have. Try turning stroller upside down ( without baby in it *-) ) and spin each wheel to see if it runs freely. Try to rock the wheels from side to side to see if there is any play in the axel. On a flat smooth surface do all wheels touch the ground? If the front wheels swivel do they rotate freely without any side to side play? Some strollers have nuts you can adjust others just have Silver domes. Try tightening nuts till wheels get tight then back off just enough so they spin freely try taping domes on tighter using a large socket from a socket set and a hammer so the pressure is around the edge of the dome and not in the centre where it would dent. Silicon spray is the best lubricant for strollers.

My front swivel wheel shakes about 30 seconds into our walk. What is causing this? Can it be repaired?

Hey there,
Its hard to say what exactly the problem is but here are seem things to try.
If you turn the stroller upside down you should see 4 screws (2 on each side) right by the front wheel on the underside of the stroller. Make sure those are in tight because if they are loose they can cause shaking in the stroller. Also make sure that the wheel is screwed in tightly to the wheel base as well.
If these steps dont work then you might need to order a replacement for the front wheel. This can be done by calling customer service of Kolcraft at 800.453.7673 or you can email them at
This is their website :
Hope this helps!!

Phil and Teds Vibe front wheel doesn't swivel

I had this problem 4 times with mine!!! the company tried to repair (unsuccessful) and then replaced it. The same problem occurrred with the second one after a month. Phil and Ted's took it back and put a thing called "super lube" on it. At first it was no better, but with a little use it seems to have come good.....for now. This is a terrible stroller that I really regret buying!!!!

I have an Evenflo stroller and the back two wheels (7" ones) are worn out. Is there somewhere I can get replacement parts?

I have an Evenflo Journey Elite Stroller that is missing a front wheel. It popped off while placing the stroller in the car and was lost. Unfortunately, Evenflo has limited replacement parts and the front wheel is not available. So, I'm selling parts off my stroller to those in a similar situation...I have no need for a stroller with just 3 wheels and it's in perfect condition otherwise. The wheels seem to be the biggest issue for buyers of this stroller. Let me know if you still need wheels. I will sell you mine if they fit for you. E-mail me at thanks, Jennifer

Problems with releasing front wheel lock

I have just fixed my stroller which had a similar problem. The wheel was still swivelling but it was sticking slightly. I noticed that the pin that locks the wheel in place was half out and therefore the wheel was getting caught on it. I undid the nut that holds the end of the wheel lock cable in place and tightened this as tight as I could which pulls the pin back into place (making sure that the switch is in swivel position). I then put the washer and nut back on (making sure cable was as tight as possible).

Stroller pulls to the right.

The following is from the instruction manual for the Expedition LX. It should be very similar to the Expedition LE.

"Stroller pulls to one side:1. The stroller is sensitive to the air pressure in the tires. If the rear tires do not have equal pressure, the stroller will feel like it is pulling to the side with the tire with the lower tire pressure. Check that the rear tires have the same pressure. Add air pressure to a maximum of 25 pounds using a bicycle style hand air pump.2. The alignment of the front wheel of the stroller can also cause the stroller to pull to one side. The stroller is designed so that the front wheel can be adjusted to correct for any alignment problem. Page 3 of the instructions
shows an expanded view of the front fork assembly. To align the front wheel, first loosen the wheel via the quick release handle as in step 2 of the instructions. Grab the front wheel directly in front of the stroller and push the wheel in the opposite direction of the pulling problem. You will notice that the axle will move within the slot on the fork. Move the wheel to the side a small amount. Retighten the quick release handle. Give the empty stroller a push across an empty smooth surface (let go of the handle) and note if the stroller now runs straight. Re-adjust the axle a small amount at a time until the stroller runs straight. Please note that a very minute
movement of the axle will affect the tracking of the stroller. Once you have aligned the front wheel, you can mark the holding plate position with a marking pen if you detach the front wheel on a regular basis. Please note that the hole in the fork is designed to allow the stroller to be adjusted to pull to the right, go straight, or pull to the left. If you continue to have difficulty with tracking, please call our customer service department at (800) 328-7363 for assistance."
