Bissell 9200 proheat carpet cleaner doesn t spray

Doesn't spray solution or water from bottom, only drips. everything else seems to work. suction is good. rollers turn. heater gets hot. cleaned both water and solution tanks and all lines seem to be clear of debris. only used about 6 times in last year. worked fine last time. after use was totally cleaned and left to dry before putting it up. followed directions bissell gave for re-priming with no change.

the two red sprayers do not screw on they have clips that attached the spray ends to the tubes and that was the first thing I checked. they are clear. removed them both and blew air though to make sure. also checked and cleaned out all the other tubes. nothing found in any of them except one. not a clog, but a dust of sorts that was on the inside of the tube. clean it with a pipe cleaner. the tube I refer to is connected to a black connector on the side of a silver (maybe the cylinoid) thing in front of a water plastic tower looking thing.

EITHER THE SWITCH IS DEFECTIVE OR THE PUMP IS DEFECTIVE, MOST LIKELY IT IS THE PUMP, CONSULT A LOCAL VACUUM REPAIR SHOP FOR DETAIL'S ON REPAIR.

There is little jet nozzles that spray out the water, they to tend to clog with just the little gravel of sand. You can unscrew these and blow them out or clean with pin.

Next thing would be to check the screen and hose in bottom of fill tank. And check the pump to make sure it is sending air pressure

Why does it have no suction?

The Bissell carpet cleaners and deep clean machines are a fantastic machine however they are prone to a couple of significant problems I find myself rebuilding a lot of these especially the 9200 series usually the biggest problem is they don't spray. in your case however I would think that you probably may have a blockage in the clean air duct for starters put the handle in the lower position to see if you have suction on the top of the machine also if you have an attachment for upholstery see if you're getting suction at the hose. Also check the red gaskets on both the cleaner tank and on the water tank to make sure that they are seated properly and they're not stuck in the machine they have to be attached to the tanks themselves. If everything seems to be ok then unfortunately it needs to be taken apart and the vacuum motor housing may have shifted or cracked o and therefore you're not getting the vacuum through the machine that you need to suck up the water. Good luck.

Bissell ProHeat 2X(9200) hose to cleaner solution no suction

There are a couple areas to check:
1. The black gasket where clearview water collecting unit and the base's front meet. Ensure gasket is in good condition.
2. Check if you're getting sufficient suction: remove the water collecting unit. When you turn on the the unit, you'll feel suction out of a black hose pointing upwards next to the grey dial. If you're not getting sufficient suction you need to check that all the gaskets are seated properly. there are 3 gaskets: (1) an orange one seated between the black hose and the base unit (2 and 3): On the bottom of the unit there is a removeable panel. This panel has a gasket (red) and inside there is a white gasket.
