unit was making a funny noise and not heating, replaced magnatron, unit no longer making the noise, but it is still not heating. Any ideas?

Is there a schematic around that I could look at? On the magnatron, there is a cable that comes to the high voltage cap, the cap has two terminals for each one, does this connection go on the bottom of the top one, or the two of the bottom one? The ground cable is connected to the bottom terminal?
I also have a JEB1095 and it is about 5 years old. The unit runs (light comes on, Timer works) but it does not heat anything.
What could the problem be?
Our unit seemed to work when heating a cup of coffe (light came on and timer worked) but when done, the coffee had not heated. Tried again and it made a nasty noise. Our warranty covers the cost of the magnatron (up to 10 years), but not the service call to install it or anything else that may be wrong. Unit is 5 years old. Should we try to fix or replace?
If the maggie went it's very plasible that it took out the Cap and/or HV diode with it.

I currently don't have a schematic but the lead from the maggie should connect to the terminal opposite the ground. The maggie uses it's case as a ground and only one lead provides High Voltage.
