I have an Alpine CDE-SXM145BT car stereo. that will not play Bluetooth devices.

The AppRadio Mode is a feature that is built into some Pioneer car stereos, which allows users to control and access compatible smartphone apps directly from the car stereo display.
If your iPhone 7 is paired to your car stereo, but you are unable to play music over Bluetooth, it may be because the AppRadio Mode is currently active. To resolve this issue, you'll need to disable the AppRadio Mode on your Pioneer car stereo. This can typically be done by pressing a dedicated button on the car stereo, or by accessing the settings menu and selecting the option to turn off AppRadio Mode.

Seems that you activated Bluetooth audio for playing music from a Bluetooth device. If you google alpine cde111 manual you will get a link to the owners manual which gives step by step instructions on how to disable Bluetooth audio

First make sure that Bluetooth is on on the CDE-143BT. Press and hold Audio/Setup (below and to the right side of the rotary encoder dial until you enter the Setup mode. Use the rotary dial to get to Bluetooth. Press the Search/Enter button (the center of the rotary dial). Then use the rotary encoder to go through the Bluetooth Settings menu. Press Search/Enter to toggle the current value. After Bluetooth is on, go to Visi M setting and make sure that it is on. Now, you need to go to the Bluetooth settings area of your cell phone when it is within range of the receiver. Tell it to pair with the receiver. Then when it asks for the code enter "0000". This code is hard encoded into the unit. See page 23 of the manual for the CDE-143BT for the code. Note: the receiver will be acting like a Bluetooth headset. That's why you need to enter the receiver's PIN on the phone.

Ours was corrected by removing the faceplate and holding in the small red reset button that is located about halfway across the front

Check the fuse in the fuse box of your car and if that doesn't help there is a fuse on the back of the alpine unit. And if this doesn't fix the problem then most likely you have a bad unit.

That would be the remote wire to turn on and off your amp.

Hi, same problem (v3.80), but finally conected. I would say that is related with bluetooth name length of the phone.
Try setting the phon's name to something smaller.

There is no physical connection to connect any cell phone to that receiver other than an Iphone. The only option you have is to buy an fm modulator that has a 3.5mm headphone plug and plug it in to your phone. Then start playing your media.

Press the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/CDE-9843
