You might need to troubleshoot this device and then check and see if it works if your computer has never recognized it if it has befor than you might have damaged your mp3 to where you will not be able to get a pc to recognize your mass storage device

good luck

What driver do i need for pc

Most of the mp3 player or mobile devices actually it's plug and play. But if it's not, you have to set your sd card as a storage. Or you have to set your USB turn on to detect by your computer.

My mp3 don't show on my pc

It honestly depends on what mp3 player you have, but usually you have to download some software for your mp3 device.

Make sure to go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers to check if your computer can detect the mp3 player.

Do not place your device on a hub, since it sometimes doesn't detect your device.

I just got my Coby Mp3, and i plugged the USB into my computer and the autoplay screen that is supposed to come on my computer, hasnt.

Does you computer detect a new device when you plugged the Coby MP3 player?
If Coby MP3 player has cd driver, better to install it to your pc. Some computer/laptop doesn't detect autoplay when new USB device plug-in

My computer not detecting my divice

Try to plug it into a different USB port on the computer. Also, once plugged in, that is the time you should turn the mp3 player ON.

Please let me know how this goes. THank you for using FixYa.

I have an Curtis MPK4099UK MP3 Player. It says to charge it I need to install setup.exe from the CD. After I done that I restarted my computer then I put My MP3 Player on charge,(with the on switch) It...

I had the same problem but have now resolved as follows. Turn the top switch to on and connect via USB port. Picture should come on the mp3 player indicating it is connected. For some reason unknown to me in order to charge you need to turn the MP3 player on - but this is impossible if there is no charge. What you need to do now is leave the MP3 player connected like this overnight - it will then have gained enough charge in the morning so that when you then disconnect the MP3 player from the USB lead you are able to actually turn it on. PLEASE NOTE this is not turning on by the switch at the top. What you do it press and hold the circle/dash symbol i.e. at the bottom of the white keypad bit on the front of the MP3 player. As you then let go it comes on. Let it finish turning itself on, then reconnect to the USB lead and leave over night to get a full charge. Good Luck

WMP won't detect my MP3

See if this helps: -Close all programmes on your computer. -Turn off your Sansa e250. -Attach the cable into the USB port of your computer before attaching it into the actual e250. -The scroll wheel on the Sansa should have turned on by now. -Then it's just a matter of waiting for a few seconds. -Try opening Windows Media Player to see if it detects your device. Otherwise, be patient. Goodluck.
