Found another site that says to take your throttle body off and
Read this for general info on the tps. I tell you to read this because the tps is very sensitive and when you remove it you have to be careful to properly calibrate when you reinstall, meaning you'll have more research, nothing I found is for sure, other people are having problems too.

Where is my throttle position senser on my 1999 totoya solar located at

The TPS sensor is going to be located on the throttle body. Starting at the air intake box, work your way toward the engine, following the air intake hose. When it connects to the throttle body, you will see a small sensor that has wired plugs in it and to it. That is you TPS sensor. They are easy to replace, usually only a couple of screws, or nuts holding it on.

What is the throttle control sensor and where is it located

It is also called a throttle position sensor, It sends a signal to the computor to show the angle of the throttle plate, which also controls the fuel flow. It is located on the side of the throttle body, opposite side of where the throttle cable assembly is.Should be 2 screws or small bolts, and a wire connection.

Where is the throttle sensor on 1994 mazda mpv located

Follow the hose running towards the engine from the air filter and you will come to the throttle body. This is where your throttle cable is also located. On the opposite side of where the throttle cable is you will see wires running to a sensor, this is your throttle position sensor.

Tps switch

The Throttle Position Sensor is a potertionmeter, and is connected to the throttle shaft on the throttle body it self. The best way to notice it, is the wire harness coming from the Throttle body on one side where the shaft is.

Good luck and hope this help.

Replacing a throttle position sensor

Hi,
A sensor like TPS is very easy to change. It is located on the Throttle body. (the part that is at the opposite end of the air intake tube from the air box/ filter) The throttle body looks sort of like a small carburetor, if you look on the side of it you wil see a black sensor.. this is the  TPS. It is usually held on by two or three screws and it will have an electrical plug as well.

High Idle

The Throttle screw is located on the throttle (obiously) its in a clinderical shaped channel located on the throttle just oposite or obliquely opposite the the throttle body position sensor. In some mazda vehicles (IN TRINIDAD) you need to loosen the throttle body position sensor and slightle adjust it eighter to the right or left to tuen the idle (For electronic controlled axcelleration) in some cases it can be adjusted via an ODB2 diagnostic tool (only in some vehicles that has electronic controlled axcelleration)

You can tell what type your vehicle is by looking for an axcelleration cable connected to the throttle body. If the throttle body has a cable it isnt electronically controlled and has an idling screw. If there is no cable but wires to the position sensor its electronic.
