Do you have a data cable? con you connect to the PC? If yes then down load to your PC all the SW for your phone you want from www.getjar.com. To include google maps. Transfer them to the phone either vis the USB data cable or via BT. Use the file manager of the phone to locate and run the files that you just transferred to your phone and one by one install them.
As regards the GPRS connection, you must contact the helpline of your service provider and ask specifically for IP address, Proxy port setting (enabled or dosabled), Proxy port Number and the APN. All these can only be provided by the service provider as they all have their own.
When you are receiving the file, check whether you have checked the Visible to other option. And it will ask for the confirmation when you will be receiving the file from other phone whether to accept or not. While sending the phone to which you are sending data should accept the file you are sending.
