I need to find out the model of my 32" Sanyo TV. The label on the back has been removed and I can't take the back off. I bought the TV second hand. Does anyone know how I can find this out?

go to the website for that brand and model. download a user manual. It should specify the screw sizes.

Replace the main board or send it for repair if repair is available for your model.

Vizio 32/DirecTV - slow to change channels

Some TVs switch faster than others, plain and simple. I went from a Sony LED to a Sanyo LCD TV and there's a world of difference between the two in terms of how quickly each powers on and how fast one channel goes to the next after inputting the channel number on the respective remotes. The Sony is lightening fast compared to the Sanyo. I have a Phillips LCD in a bedroom that takes a long time as well, like the Sanyo. Personally I think you get speed with either the LED (over the LCD) and/or it's related to the quality and associated price you've paid.

Dropped 32 in Sanyo TV off of stand. It worked for 2 weeks and then the picture went out. Still have audio. What would a picture tube cost?

HELLO

A new tube will cost you the same or even MORE than a new TV. You could try to locate a second-hand tube but even then you would have to get a service engineer to replace it for you.

If I were you, I would just get a decent second-hand TV.

I have a Sanyo 32 inch tv, model # DS31650, that has no sound

there is an SIF coil (sound-intermediate-frequency) that goes bad on these units. it will be near the video jungle ic and marked sif on the board. since your sound is poor anyway you could try to adjust, in very small incremens at a time to see if audio picks up. sometimes dirty connections in the coil will cause poor conductivity, by turning this will move contact to new position mch

I have had this problem and going to the manufacturers web site and scrolling through the models to find the best one that matches your tv worked great for me

Number 1 If the Sound is Ok,(CLEAR)For 1 min,Then the First thing I would be Checking Is the Audio Output for Ringbreaks around the Conns,If you have Jacks that say audio out on the Back Plug it into to a Input of a Stero and see If that works
