Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
My 360 reads DVDs no problem, and I can play all day long without the hard drive connected, but the moment I hook it up, and it restarts, it gives me this bullsh*t error message that the disc is dirty, and try again..I JUST GOT MY SH*T BACK FROM XBOX...WTF SHOULD I DO?
I have heard this happen when people tried replacing components in their Xbox themselves, and the part numbers do not match up correctly. If you just got it back from Microsoft, it is possible that their repair technicians made a mistake during the replacement process.
I would say to find the order number from your repair and call 1-800-4MYXBOX, they should be willing to take the system back and repair it again if you explain that the system came back with a similar problem that it went in with.
