Hi, first determine what sound or chip that you have. If it's an add on sound card, it is probably one of the sound blaster family by Creative. Visiting their web site would get you the proper driver. If it is integrated, i.e., a built in sound chip or processor on your motherboard, you can get the latest driver from your MOBO manufacturer's site.
