Question about Acer Computers & Internet
I have an Acer Aspire 4720Z that was downgraded from Vista to Win XP Pro. I almost have everything working again, except the external volume control wheel, as well as the headphone/mike/line in jacks which all appear to be part of the same component with access in the front of the laptop.
Am I missing a driver or controller or something?
The built in speakers work, albeit not as powerfully as they did under Vista. I have Realtek HD Audio Manager installed and fully functional (as far as I can tell) but no external control for volume :-(
Any help is appreciated
Yes, I also fixed by installing the Synaptics touchpad driver.

Hi, try to install the LaunchManager aplication and touchpad (Synaptics) driver. It is avaiable at acer.co.uk, service & support, select the model, the select windows xp professional x32 as your operational system...
