Re: power supply

Hi there I take it you have tried the power cord swap for a new one and then try the machine also try a different power socket as this may also be the cause. If none of the above work then you have a faulty power supply and will need replacing.

Hope the first two help you
Thanks J

Showing 121: fatal error

It is not exactly "fatal", it is related to LSI power supply or disturbance in it communication with high-voltage LSI chip, try this solution first:

1. switch off the printer and remove cord from power supply, remove network connection as well.
2. switch printer on (without power!) for 20sec, switch off
3. connect power supply, and switch printer on
4. connect network cable

If this operation did not clear the error, unfortunately you need to service the printer.

Hope this will help to solve your problem, please leavenote how did it go.

Close front cover

Unlikely the power supply. Sadly I can't think what causes that. I havent workrd on Toshiba for a couple of years now, but there is something else that causes that. Totally unrelated to the power supply or the switch. Have them call Toshiba support .
I am sorry I can't off hand remember the problem. But it is unlikely the power supply.

Xerox F12 will not power up

There is a fuse in the power supply, That is located under the paper catch tray.Just look to the right of the on off switch, You will see 2 silver phillips screws in that cover. Remove those and pop the cover off, it will POP, there is a tab holding it in place, so it will have alittle resistance in removing it.
You also will have to remove 3 screws on the power supply shield to access the power supply. some have 1 some have 2 fuses. If the supply is bad. Google a business called " the parts drop". Give Britt a call, he is very good to deal with and will have that part.

Printer does not turn is plug in.

check again... push in the cord the connects to the printer itself. push in the end that connects to the wall outlet or the power strip/bar. make sure the wall outlet is not connected to a switch. if it is a switched outlet, make sure the switch is in ON position.

Sharp AR 337 won't turn on

if you are not getting any lights when you plug in and turn on power switch. These would be the steps I would follow, make sure on/off switch is functioning, 15 amp fuse is good or any fuse on power supply board, make sure power is coming out of power supply board. Power supply is the board with the power cord coming up to. Hope this helps. Should have a tech familiar with this machine check.

Ac power

There are a couple of fuses in that power supply. But if it is a 412 or an F12 most likely you have developed cracks in the solder connections of that particular LVPS.
I would recommend replacing the LVPS.
Roughly a 250 dollar price on that power supply.
