Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
Have you tried other disks, to see if they work?
Alternatively, you could try and clean the laser lense.
There are cd lense cleaners available, which you just load like a normal disk, and the two very fine brushes, (or more, depending on the type of cleaner it is)
will clean the lense.
Hopefully that will solve your problem, although,
if the disk is damaged, that could also be the reason it's not being recognized.
