I have a transcend jv v30/2gb pen drive... when i connect it to the comp the comp doesn't respond at all... the detected sound is audible but the comp doen't show anythin detected at all....


the rom information is not intact but the lba or total capacity information is lost.from the pen drive

may be if you dont have data to recover ..just buy a new one..if u wish to recover data nothing helps except a hard ware pcb chip level expert.

Sandisk pen drive cruzer 2gb not detected by the computer


first insert your sandisk pendrive.Now right click on my computer.Go to manage option . select disk management. From that you must select your drive letter for your pen drive.Go to Action menu near to File menu.Fromthat select all tasks and select formatting.Then again goto all tasks and select change drive letter and paths.select the drive letter and your problem is solved. thanks for asking your problem.

My pen drive is not showing 2GB, why?


see just open it and then u will seee some files copy that files into ur pc and then full format ur pen drive it will show u 2 gb after formatting

Pen drive problem


Not detected..It simply means out of use. This has been experienced by me for my 2nd 2gb pendrive also..
No repairing.
No option..
No alternative..
No any chance of data recovery..
Loosing data is more painful than the price of drive..
Shame on the quality ...

You must install a "Driver" for it to work under Win98, go to the manufacturers web site and download the driver and install.
