Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to enter the mac mini BIOS

Macintosh Computers do not have BIOS, they use OpenFirmware.
You can get into OpenFirmware using this Key Sequence at startup: Apple - Option - O - F
Hold down all 4 keys and turn on your Mac, keep holding them down until you hear two chimes.
The OpenFirmware looks like this:
-----------------------------------------ok
0>-----------------------------------------
here are a few commands you can use in OpenFirmware
mac-boot (This will boot your computer using the default boot disk)eject cd (This will eject any CD or DVD that may be in the optical drive)shut-down (This will shutdown your computer)

Mr. Randee, you need a bootable disc or should i say cd installer like windows xp professional. Turn on your computer and tap DEL key or F2 key, it will enter you to cmos/bios setup. When already in cmos/bios look for the bios features setup using arrow keys and when highlighted it press enter. Then look for the boot sequence and make the cd or dvdrom drive first boot by pressing - or + or pageup or pagedown to modify. When you already changed the boot sequence press F10 key to save the settings then press Y. While restarting insert the Microsoft CD installer and when ask you for press any key, press any key to boot or start booting from cd or dvdrom drive. Let the cd installer run and when the computer ask for enter, repair or skip press R for repair. Then it will load to repair setup, type 1 for c:\windows and press enter. Type fixboot and enter and press Y for yes after that type fixmbr and enter and press Y for yes then type exit. After that wait to restart your computer and eject the cd installer and the computer will automatically load to windows. Have a good day!

How to open bios setup in apple mac book

Macs do not have BIOS. They have OpenFirmware.
To access hold down CMD-OPT-O-F during bootup, that is the letter O not zero.
You will get a command prompt 0 >
Do a Google search for OpenFirmware to find out all the commands you can use at the prompt.

Disk won't come out of disk drive. What can I do?

on your laptop turn the system off first then as soon as you turn it on kee on tapping f2 to get to your system BIOS "Note: getting into the BIOS depends on the system Some require to press Delete Botton to enter the BIOS setup" once in the BIOS you can eject you DVD rom from there by pressing one of the function keys on your system this depends on what brand of laptop you have some have F10 to be the eject Botton in BIOS for all DVD/CD-roms to make it eject, also if the Functions botton dont work try Holding down the FN key as well + the function Keys try this one at a time till your cd/dvdrom is ejected, am sorry I cant give you the exact info this query is based on machine type and brand. but this should do it for you if it doesn't this means that your dvd/cdrom's mechanism insdie is damaged or malfunctioning. i do not suggest prying it out, ths may damage the system as well.

How do i get to the bios setup for my book

Macs use Intel's Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) to perform the same job as a BIOS. Intel have been trying to introduce this for years, but thanks to Microsoft dragging their feet, were unable to put it into any production units until Apple switched onto their processors. Therefore there is no BIOS screen on a Mac, as they don't have a BIOS.

so to achive changes you have to Edit your Boot.ini file
