the default passcode for your phone is typically the last 4 digits of your phone number, sometimes preceded by a 1. example: if my number is 555-9999, then my passcode is most likely either 9999 or 19999.

Try dialing *228, then pressing 1. This reprograms the phone to factory defaults, making your security (lock) code the same as the last four digits of your phone number. For example, if your phone number is (315) 123-0101, then after following the above instructions, your passcode is now "0101". *228 is accessible EVEN when the phone has been locked. This method does NOT delete contacts or change your phone number. All of that information remains the same as before you dialed *228.
