I am continuing to recieve Windows update error 9C48 and I am unable to fix error

Hello,
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=23332
Instructions:
  1. Uninstall IE9, if you already have it installed, and restart the computer.
  2. Download the installer.
  3. Disconnect from the internet. This is important because the installer attempts to download the latest, bad binaries from Windows Update.
  4. Let the install finish, and restart.
  5. Reconnect to the internet and check Windows Update. If all went well, you should be able to see the Cumulative Update for IE9, instead of IE9 itself.
Thanks

Netflix account sign in

Netflix offers users the ability to rent movies and TV shows through the mail on DVD or Bluray and also allows users to watch select shows or movies online using a computer or certain other devices.

Occasionally users encounter errors when attempting to log in to their Netflix accounts.

These errors can be as simple as an incorrectly typed password to more complex issues with the Netflix service itself.
Credential Problems

Many login problems are caused by an incorrect email address or password when attempting to log in.

This can be due to typos or other misspellings, or recent password changes that were forgotten. Netflix offers the ability to recover passwords and usernames via the "Need Help Signing In?" link below the login fields on the Netflix home page.

Clicking the link allows the user to recover her password by entering her email address, and also gives the option to advance to a second recovery screen if she does not have access to that email address anymore.

The second screen allows the user to prove her identity by entering the first name, last name and credit card number associated with the Netflix account.

Service Errors

Login problems occasionally occur due to errors with the Netflix service itself.

When these problems occur, a message appears that explains a site error has occurred, directing the user back to the Netflix home page.

The user should attempt logging in again in case of a one-time error, though site-wide service errors do occasionally occur.

Depending on the nature of the error, once logged in the user may experience problems when trying to watch movies instantly or attempting to edit his DVD queue.

Site-wide service errors do not affect the ability of Netflix to send and receive movies by mail.

Account Problems

If a problem exists with a user's Netflix account due to a failed payment attempt, the user can still log in but is directed to a page informing him of the problem instead of his standard account home page.

Until the problem is resolved, he will be unable to watch movies instantly, receive DVD or Blu-ray discs from the service and will be required to return any movies currently at his home to avoid additional fees.

Account problems can typically be resolved by authorizing Netflix to retry the last payment attempt on the user's credit card or by supplying a new credit card number for payment purposes.

Device Connection Errors

When attempting to watch movies or TV shows on Netflix-ready devices such as a Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 or Roku streaming media player connection errors sometimes occur while the device attempts to log in to the user's Netflix account.

These errors may occur because the Internet connection the devices use is not properly configured, limited bandwidth to and from the user's home or problems with the device-specific version of the Netflix service.

If the device cannot connect and log in to Netflix, the user should check the device's Internet connection and try connecting again later.

Keek -forbidden(error 408) solution

HTTP Error 408 Request timeout
Introduction

The Web server (running the Web site) thinks that there has been too long an interval of time between 1) the establishment of an IP connection (socket) between the client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) and the server and 2) the receipt of any data on that socket, so the server has dropped the connection. The socket connection has actually been lost - the Web server has 'timed out' on that particular socket connection. The request from the client must be repeated - in a timely manner.
408 errors in the HTTP cycle
Any client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) goes through the following cycle:
  • Obtain an IP address from the IP name of the site (the site URL without the leading 'http://'). This lookup (conversion of IP name to IP address) is provided by domain name servers (DNSs).
  • Open an IP socket connection to that IP address.
  • Write an HTTP data stream through that socket.
  • Receive an HTTP data stream back from the Web server in response. This data stream contains status codes whose values are determined by the HTTP protocol. Parse this data stream for status codes and other useful information.
This error occurs in the final step above when the client receives an HTTP status code that it recognises as '408'. (Last updated: March 2012).
Fixing 408 errors - general
408 errors are often difficult to resolve. They typically involve one-off variations in system workload or operations.
If you see persistent 408 errors, the first thing to consider is the workload on the Web server - particularly around the time the 408 errors were generated. If this is light, then you also need to consider workload on the client system. If the computer systems on both ends of the socket connection seem to be running normally, then temporary Internet surges may be to blame.
Fixing 408 errors - CheckUpDown
This error is highly unlikely to occur on your CheckUpDown account, because there is usually only a tiny interval of time (milliseconds) between our 1) opening of the socket and 2) writing the HTTP data stream through that socket. In exceptional circumstances, this interval may increase because of some operations on our computer systems e.g. we temporarily suspend an executing process and this happens immediately after the socket was created. Or the two steps may follow quickly on our systems, but the second step encounters an unreasonable delay on the Internet. The acceptable interval between the two steps could also be set very low on the Web server e.g. the Web server is very busy, and has become a bit 'impatient' with attempted connections it views as a bit slow.
Any of these conditions may generate an 408 error. But they are all fairly unlikely to occur. In normal IP communications, the time interval between the two steps should be much less than 10 seconds, which should be completely acceptable to the Web server.
I hope this helps.

Ntldr is mising

Related errors

Below are the full error messages that may be seen when the computer is booting.

NTLDR is Missing
Press any key to restart

Boot: Couldn't find NTLDR
Please insert another disk

NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl Alt Del to Restart
Causes

  1. Computer is booting from a non-bootable source.
  2. Computer hard disk drive is not properly setup in BIOS.
  3. Corrupt NTLDR and NTDETECT.COM file.
  4. Misconfiguration with the boot.ini file.
  5. Attempting to upgrade from a Windows 95, 98, or ME computer that is usingFAT32.
  6. New hard disk drive being added.
  7. Corrupt boot sector / master boot record.
  8. Seriously corrupted version of Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
  9. Loose or Faulty IDE/EIDE hard disk drive cable.
  10. Failing to enable USB keyboard support in the BIOS.
Solutions

Computer is booting from a non-bootable source

Many times this error is caused when the computer is attempting to boot from a non-bootable floppy disk or CD-ROM. First verify that no floppy diskette or CD is in the computer, unless you are attempting to boot from a diskette.

Note: This error has also been known to occur when a memory stick is in a card reader and the computer is attempting to boot from it. If you have any card reader or flash reader make sure that no memory stick is inside the computer. Additionally disconnect all USB drives, cameras, ipods, iphones, etc. from the computer.

If you are attempting to boot from a floppy diskette and are receiving this error message it is likely that the diskette does not have all the necessary files or is corrupt.

If you are attempting to install Windows XP or Windows 2000 and are receiving this error message as the computer is booting verify that your computer BIOS has the proper boot settings. For example, if you are attempting to run the install from the CD-ROM make sure the CD-ROM is the first boot device, and not the hard disk drive.

Second, when the computer is booting you should receive the below prompt.

Press any key to boot from the CD

Important: When you see this message press any key such as the Enter key immediately, otherwise it will try booting from the hard drive and likely get the NTLDR error again.

Note: If you are not receiving the above message and your BIOS boot options are set properly it's also possible that your CD-ROM drive may not be booting from the CD-ROM properly. Verify the jumpers are set properly on the CD-ROM drive.

Can't watch burned DVD-R's on my Macbook

The drive probably doesn't support the media.

Are you using OS X only or XP as well?

The only thing you could try is booting to a PC operating system and then updating the firmware if an update is available.

It might be easier to just keep trying different media until you find one that works.

If you attempt a firmware update via PC you could end up disabling drive access via OS X, though not likely there's still a chance.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
