Restore your ipod.here's how to:

  1. Turn on your iPod (in my case it would only get as far as displaying the Apple logo
  2. Hold the power and home buttons down (the iPod will power off after 10 seconds, but keep holding those buttons down)
  3. After the iPod powers off, release the power button (but keep holding the home button down)
  4. After a couple more seconds, you should hear that magical “ding dong” that means the iPod is coming back alive, and that Windows has detected it. You may even see a little “New hardware” popup in Windows. It is now safe to release the home button, and your iPod is in DFU mode.
  5. Now iTunes will see it as a DFU’ed iPod and should ask you to automatically restore its firmware.
  6. iTunes has to download the new firmware, and it takes a while, so go make a sandwich.

Fuel pump going out or something else?

There are numerous reasons for a vehicle to stall at random. Is the check engine light on? If so, scanning for codes would be a good place to start. Having a fuel pump pressure test performed will let you know if there is actually a fuel pump/power supply issue causing the stalling

My ipod keeps saying error -48 and wont sync

Most likely cause is hard drive is dying or dead. Hard drives can be replaced, Google "iPod repairs" in your country. If it is under 12 months warranty, any Authorised Apple Service Centre will replace it in a couple of days.

Car dies randomly for no reason.

My car use to do the same thing. I would be driving down the road and it would die. after 15 min. or so the car would start. I replaced the crank sensor and this solved my problem.

Ipod screen wont light up

Is it turning on at all? If not i would try resetting it by pressing and holding both the menu and center buttons at the same time for at least ten seconds or until an apple appears on the screen. If this doesn't resolve your issue hella hit me up.

Ipod will not turn on..

Its probably a hardware issue if it will not turn on even while connected to power. However i would attempt that reset while it is plugged in, just to be sure. If you need the apple support number it is 1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273)

Ipod nano dropped in a bowl of water

Contact Apple support - www.apple.com then click on support

By what i understand about IPOD when i sold it at Radioshack, the unit sounds like it died after that swimming event. Ipods unfortunatly are like cell phones and dont like water at all. If it is slowly getting worse, like the screen working then not, that means the hardware is corroding and dying.

I have questions for any ipod user

What is your problem? The ipod doesn't die. Believe it or not but there's a battery inside of the ipod that if you want it to be repaired. Don't send it to the apple company, they'll charge you a **** load to replace the battery. You can find an ipod battery $10-$30 easy on the net&the proper instructions on the net you can replace the battery yourself!

Ipod nano not playing songs, and dying

A couple possibilities:
The songs that you have loaded onto the IPod may have fixed-term or limited licenses - if you don't resync to your music svc every 30 days or let your subscription lapse, they become unplayable over time.

This would not explain the games, however. On every Windows-based computer, the iPod can play in 2 modes - msd or mtp mode. If you alternate between these two modes, certain file types become hidden to the player itself, and thus become unusable. I can tell you how to resolve this, but it takes a lot of time, effort, and space: write me back, and let me know if you want me to tell you more.

What type of computer do you have, and what type of OS are you using? Windows XP? Macintosh? Windows Vista?
