You could try an epoxy glue, if that does not work, then you are going to have to fit a new pump complete.
Please rate my solution.

Water pump is clogged on my maytag front loader how do you unclog it? I washed old tugs that had rubber backing and they fell apart and crumbled

Unplug the dryer or disconnect power then remove the three screws attaching the bottom of the lower front access panel and pull the panel down and off. Once the panel is off, you'll find the drain filter attached to the drain pump.

Place a container or a piece of towel underneath the filter to catch spillage. You may need to drain the water from the machine by putting the end of the drain hose over a container on the floor. Position the container as low as possible to extract as much water.

Remove the filter by turning the knob counterclockwise and clean it. Also take a moment to inspect the drain pump impeller by reaching it in with your finger and turning it. The impeller should turn freely. Otherwise, replace the drain pump.

This Maytag machine is made by Whirlpool and therefore troubleshooting are basically the same. Click on link below for more detailed drain problem troubleshooting.

The unit can pump during cycle but can not drain at the end how to clear drain should that help

Hello there again i have provided some information for you on this too ok please read belopw abnd click on each blue item
The water doesn't drain from the machine If the water doesn't drain from your dishwasher, check these: Drain line/air gap Pump Drain valve and/or solenoid Belt Motor Timer Drain line/air gap A clog in the drain line or air gap (if there is one) is the usual reason that a dishwasher won't drain. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. If you remove this line, you can clear any debris from the hose or hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again. Pump Your dishwasher pump ejects the water. The pump is usually mounted directly to the motor, then attached to the bottom of the dishwasher. You can reach the pump from inside the dishwasher, but first you need to remove the lower rack, the spray arm, and the spray arm support. Look for an impeller--a round plastic fan blade-type of device that spins around. This is the wash impeller, which forces the water through the spray arm. Beneath the wash impeller is the drain impeller, which is similar in size and shape to the wash impeller. The drain impeller pushes the water toward the drain port. These components make up the pump. If any of the pump components are defective, you need to replace them. Drain valve and/or solenoid Many dishwashers use a drain valve with an electric solenoid. When electricity flows to the solenoid, the valve opens and diverts the water to the drain. Sometimes the solenoid, or the diverting lever, sticks and prevents the dishwasher from draining or filling properly. Try to free up the solenoid to lubricate the lever. Otherwise, you may have to replace the solenoid or pump assembly.

Wash machine fills with water and water will not empty, water stays in wash machine. Replaced timer and still have the problem any ideas?

Use the video link referenced above to show how to access the components inside the cabinet.
Test the lid switch with a volt meter set for ohms. No reading is a bad switch. If switch is good, remove the drain pump attached to the motor and check for a garment or lint in the pump.

Calypso washer runs fine until 7 minutes, then stays stuck on 7 minutes until it finally gets a LD or Long Drain error.

Check the drain line for kinks or obstructions and check the pump. It isn't just whether the water drained, but how quickly it drained as well. Remove the hoses from the pump and use a flashlight to look into the suction port. Make sure that nothing is clogging the pump like that occasional stray sock, etc., and check the pump impeller. Make sure there are no broken or missing blades and that the impeller spins freely. If there are any broken/missing blades or if you cannot get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. Hopefully it's just a clogged drain line, pump, or jammed impeller. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

I have an older model Whirlpool washing machine that won't drain

I would check the drain line for kinks and obstructions and then the pump. Remove the hoses from the pump and check for anything clogging it (like the occasional stray piece of clothing) and check the pump impeller. Make sure there are no broken or missing blades and that the impeller will spin freely. If any blades are missing/broken or if you can't get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. Hopefully it's just a clogged drain line, pump, or jammed impeller. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

I have the error LD and OB also wont do spin or rinse cyles

The "LD" code or "long drain" indicates a pump/drain related issue. Check the drain line for kinks or obstructions. Check the pump. Remove the hoses from the pump and use a flashlight to look into the suction port. Make sure nothing is clogging the pump (like the occasional stray sock) and check the pump impeller. Make sure the impeller has no broken/missing blades and that it spins freely. If any blades are missing/broken or if you can't get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. Hopefully it's just a clogged drain line, pump, or jammed impeller. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Whirlpool duet washer has problem draining and then slowly fills up drum after finishing cycle

Check the solenoid at the water inlet valve. They can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity means a bad solenoid and the water inlet valve assy will have to be replaced. I will attach a photo for reference. Check the drain line for kinks and obstructions. The pump can be checked. Remove the hoses from the pump and check for anything clogging the pump and check the pump impeller for broken/missing blades and make sure the impeller spins freely. If any blades are broken/missing or if you can't get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Machine spins but water stays in machine

I would check for a clog somewhere. Make sure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Take a flashlight and look into the suction port on the pump. Make sure it is not clogged and check the pump impeller. Make sure no blades are broken or missing and that the impeller turns freely. If any blades are broken or missing or if the impeller won't move freely, then the pump will have to be replaced. Hopefully it is just a clogged pump or drain line. Hope this helped and best wishes.
