I've had the Sony CDX-GT310 cd player for almost 2 years, and all of the sudden this week, it stopped playing radio stations clearly. At first the radio stations would sound like static and them they would come in ok after a few minutes. Now the stations are either static or completely silent. Any thoughts or suggestions?

- I have a 2005 Honda Civic. There are no exposed wires that could be caught by a foot. I had my dad take a look at the wiring, but the panels and glove box prevented him from seeing anything. The stereo was installed by Best Buy, so I'm planning to go back to them and have them take a look since they have the knowledge and the proper tools.
With regard to the next comment - there is no aerial antenna on the car.
Have you checked to make sure your antenna is connected tightly. Vibration from driving, someones foot catching a wire, ect could cause it to pull out.

I have a CDX-GT310 from a couple of years ago. It's attached to an under-seat Sony XM Satellite receiver. The problem is this: when I switch to XM mode (using the "Source" button), the display that shows up first is the only one I can see. Pushing "Display" does nothing. Changing the channel up or down actually changes the channel, but the display does not reflect the change. XM presets are also not working. It may be a related or unrelated problem, but the other day I had an issue where the only "Sources" the radio could see were FM and AUX. Any help is most appreciated!
