Question about RCA HD61LPW42 61" Rear Projection HDTV
Is it over heating? Where is the thermostat? Otherwise great pic. THX
Well it seems you may have an issue with your ballast that it's losing the energy it used to have , but we would need more info for a more accurate answer about this, discountdashmerchantdotcom

The thermostat is mounted over the lamp assembly and can become intermittent. It should measure shorted ( 0 ohms) normally and open if too hot. The 2 black wires go to the TOC connector where you can check proper operation. I have fixed HD61LPW42 DLP TV with no display by replacing.... just short it
out temporarily to see if circuit board will enable ballast circuit.
