Trying to get online on my gateway laptop it keeps asking for security code...i dont know what to do

it sounds like it is asking you for your wifi password in which case you will need to go onto the routers web interface to check usually the routers address is http://192.168.1.1

i would need more information however such as router model and if you are trying to get onto your routers wifi.

Dynex DX-E401 Router setup

Here is the manual, and it states that to get into the router you use admin as the user name and password is blank. I would suggest that you reset the router. The reset button is on the back next to the power connector. Use a paper clip and push the reset button in for about 30 seconds till the lights flash. Then you should be able to log into the setup page and set it up .

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
