My Motorola L6 works perfectly except last week I noticed that whenever a call was coming in, the phone's screen went blank...I am able to make calls, send text, use all phone features except receiving calls or looking at the 'received calls' feature.

Ok, my phone had the same problem. I took the face plate off and the screen out and there's actually a little connector that connects to a board behind the screen(can come unplugged for replacement). I fiddled around a little with it and it worked fine. about a week or 2 later it happened again. I tried fixing it again and it would just flash white>black>lines>white, repeat. I know my phone's taken a bit of abuse, dropped down a road, soaked in rain, but it always worked after. These phone screens aren't meant to take abuse. Problem; the phone screen died. Solution; get a new screen.
from your cell phone dile in the cell # and send it. that should bring you to your voicemail.
if that wont work try taking out any memory cards or any other accessorys the phone may have.
If you have voice recognition on your phone try using that to get to your voicemail.
View or edit the Mailbox Retrieval number, then select OK. Note: If the Voice Mail Retrieval number is unknown, contact Customer Care for the users local number or to have programming sent to the device.
i tried some electrical contact cleaner (brake cleaner WAL-MART .89 cents) on the hinges. Open ti back and forth several times. NOTE: do not spray alot, just a little at a time. Then it got squeaky and started working. Then I sprayed a little WD-40 on the hinges and it works fine.
