SOURCE: need to reset the time display on a equitytime model 40009

This solution from the answers below worked on my model 40007 clock today: If you hold down the button on top that says DST for like 10 seconds it will allow you to force change the time.
Thanks. wd 11/21/2010

Hi,

Please call Onix to request that another manual be emailed to you. They should be able to do this for you for free as it's a digital version of the manual.

Thank you.

I have Equity Time Insta-Set Model 40018. I lost the directions about how to set it. How do I get the directions? Are they available online?

Model 40018: You do not need the 9-volt battery to operate this clock.
NO TIME DISPLAYED WHEN PLUGGED INTO AC POWER:
If the display is blank when plugged into the AC outlet, unplug from AC power and remove the Insta-Set battery (lithium button cell), then plug into AC power again and manually set the Time and Date.
  • HOUR: Press and hold the DST SET button for 7 seconds until the 12:00 flashes. Use the PLUS and MINUS buttons to set the Hour. Press and release the DST button to move to the Minutes.
  • MINUTES: The Minutes will be flashing. Use the PLUS and MINUS buttons to set the Minutes. Press and release the DST SET button to move to the Month.
  • MONTH:The Month will be flashing. Use the PLUS and MINUS buttons to set the Month. Press and release the DST SET button to move to the Date.
  • DATE: TheDate will be flashing. Use the PLUS and MINUS buttons to set the Date. Press and release the DST SET button to move to the Year.
  • YEAR: The Minutes will be flashing. Use the PLUS and MINUS buttons to set the Year. Press and release the DST SET button to secure the setting in the memory.
After completing the manual set for time and date, insert a fresh Insta-Set button cell battery and the settings will automatically be stored in the clock.

Hi I have a insta set model 44200 clock radio just open pkg noticed next to electrical plug there a small hole with a 7 inch thin coated wire coming out of it what is this is it safe to use

That's the radio antenna. Just tuck it under the unit or along the back of the shelf or whatever if you get adequate reception. If you don't then you might try fussing with it--taping it up the wall, draping it over a book, that kind of stuff.

Need to know how to set time on ISTA SET 40009

Instructions
    • 1 Press and hold the "Alarm Set" button for five to seven seconds if you have an Insta-Set 40001, 44100 or 44200 model; the year will begin to blink when the clock is ready for adjustment. If you have an Insta-Set 40009 or 40018, hold the "DST" button for five to seven seconds (until the hour begins to blink).
    • 2 Set the year by pressing the right-arrow, "Up" or "+" button, depending on your model of clock.
    • 3 Set the month, day, hour and minute. Press the "Alarm Set" or "DST" button to cycle through each field, and use the "Up," "+" or right-arrow button to adjust the values within each field.

I have a clock that will not get correct time. I have no way yo set it . Model #44100 Equity.

All Equity Insta-Set clocks automatically set the correct time and date when you turn on the power. Occasionally, the automatic time-setting feature malfunctions and you must reset the time yourself. Manually changing the time to the correct time on an Equity Insta-Set clock requires the push of only a few buttons to get the clock back on track:

1. Press and hold the "Alarm Set" button for five to seven seconds, the year will begin to blink when the clock is ready for adjustment.
2. Set the year by pressing the right-arrow, "Up" or "+" button, depending on your model of clock
3. Set the month, day, hour and minute. Press the "Alarm Set" button to cycle through each field, and use the "Up," "+" or right-arrow button to adjust the values within each field.
4. Press the "Alarm Set" button after setting the date and time to store the information into your clock's memory.

gylacz
