Tightening sequence would be to tighten from the center most bolts to the outer most bolts. Intake Upper Bolts = 18 lb.ft. Intake Lower Bolts = 10 lb.ft. Exhaust Manifold Nut = 12 lb.ft Exhaust Manifold pipe = 22 lb.ft. Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield = 18 lb.in. Rocker Arm Torque Nuts = 18 lb.ft.

1. Drain the cooling system until the coolant is below the level of the water pump. 2. Remove the drive belt guard. 3. Loosen the water pump pulley bolts. 4. Remove the drive belt. 5. Remove the water pump pulley bolts. 6. Remove the water pump pulley. 7. Remove the water pump bolts. 8. Remove the water pump. 9. Remove the water pump gasket. 10. Clean the water pump mating surfaces. Installation Procedure 1. Install the water pump gasket. 2. Install the water pump Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. 3. Install the water pump bolts. Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.). 4. Install the water pump pulley. 5. Install the water pump pulley bolts. 6. Install the drive belt. Install the cylinder head gasket. Ensure the arrows point towards the front of the engine. The left cylinder head gasket has the letter L stamped next to the arrow.

Exhuast manifold torque 38 foot pounds, Head bolts are 38 Foot pounds after you add sealant to the bolts then after torque go another 130 degrees. Tighten center 4 bolts in sequence another 30 degrees.
