What is the model number of Ibanez s/n J110650123?

Ibanez guitars have used serial numbers since the mid 1970s. Some sources say the practice started in September 1975, but serial numbers indicating production as early as October 1974 have been spotted.

It is a genuine Ibanez serial number, for a guitar made at the
Samick Plant, Korea on August, 2014.

Fake Ibanez guitars are known though. Apparently most fakes have a serial number beginning with 'C'. Here's a few links on spotting one:

Your guitar was made at the Fuji-gen Plant, Japan in 1993, Production Number: 38594. The serial number does not tell us what model it is.

I my market, I see used ones in good shape go for $250. Your market may vary. Of course the condition of your particular guitar is a factor, as well as the market you're in. Music Go Round is asking $289 for one, but I expect it will really sell for $250.

Generally ibanez serial numbers will start with a letter, rather than just numbers. Please double check to be sure.

Ibanez serial number can tell you two things, year of manufacture and factory [or country] of manufacture. with most typical Ibanez serial numbers the first 2 digits will indicate year, or the first digit will indicate the last digit of the year, but there are also some that indicate no year at all. There is no master list to correlate to a model number,This particular style serial number will either be on the neck plate or right into the back of the headstock. It consists of a letter, A - L, followed by a 6 digit number. The letter stands for the month, A for January etc., the first 2 digits will be the year, 76 is 1976, 96 is 1996, the last 4 digits will be the consecutive production number for that months production, 1356 would be the 1356th guitar produced that month. This form of serial numbering is still used today on guitars where the number is impressed into the back of the headstock. A761356 - The 1356th guitar produced in January '76, hope that helps
