Problem for Polk Audio AMR50 Computer Speakers
No sound
I cannot hear my speakers without them plugged into the headphone port on my comp and it is very low. When plugged into the line in port, I get nothing.What to do?

Your speakers are unlikely to work in the line in port, because the line in port is for microphones and other INPUT devices. What OS are you running?

first right click on the speaker symbol in the lower right startup toolbar and click on the open volume controls tab. make sure nothing is turned down or muted. if all is well there i would suggest trying another set of speakers first and if theres still no sound, buy a sound card and install it along with the drivers cd that comes with it.
