do you have the right drivers for your keyboard on your computer so it works properly? you can look at the model of your keyboard then find the drivers online and if your having trouble transfering them over to your computer use something like a sd card or flash driver

Try using the reset button and resetting both the mouse and the keyboard at the same time. I had the same keyboard and the only way to get mine to work is to 1st, change both sets of batteries so you have fresh juice, 2nd, press the reset button on the receiver, and then simultaneously press the reset buttons on both the mouse and the keyboard at the same time. Make sure they are both within 12 inches of the receiver. If this doesn't work, then I agree, re-download the appropriate drivers as the file may have been corrupted. Good luck and I hope this helps some.

On the back of the keyboard it says the model and has numbers then when you get those go to google and type it in, it should have a website to go to for the drivers

My hp wireless mouse was working fine with my hp mini laptop all the sudden stopped working

My first guess is it could be the batteries. Have you tried changing it?

If it still won't work then I suggest reinstalling it.

Thanks for using Fixya!

Wireless keyboard quit working all of a sudden. Changed batteries, rebooted still won't work. Wireless mouse still works.

DId you receive any drivers to use with the keyboard? If you did, try reinstalling them. If you dont have them, search google for the model of the keyboard you have, and try to download them and install them.
If it doesnt work, the best thing to do is to call the customer service from where you bought your keyboard. They just stop working sometimes for no reason. If you still have warranty, they probably will give you a new keyboard.

Hello, I am asking this question about my Logitech Keyboard M/N Y-RAU7; ID JNZ202198. All of a sudden one day after owning my computer for 2 years, the keyboard stopped working. The mouse works fine...

Try downloading new drivers for your keyboard. Go to the logic tech website and get plug in the model number of your keyboard under the product support keyboard driver section. Reboot your computer and it should work.

The mouse appears to be on but the pointer on the screen does not move. The keyboard is still working. The re-set button does not correct the problem. Re-booting the computer does not work.

The same thing happened to me today. Somehow, something uninstalled my setpoint mouse software?!?!
While I was actually using the mouse?!?!
(it just stopped moving all of a sudden)

Don't ask me how/why this happened but I fixed it by unplugging the MX1000--both power and usb connection, plugging in an old serial mouse, rebooting the computer, opening mouse properties, going to the Mouse settings (in Control Panel), clicking the Setpoint tab, telling it to look for an update to the Setpoint program, letting it download and install the program automatically, then unplugging the old serial mouse, plugging in the MX1000 (usb first, them Power) and Voila'! Working as it should once again, even without a reboot. :o)
I love this mouse--perfect size, fast, programmable, accurate, long battery life, Perfect!

Fcp logic wireless keyboard A1016 stopped working

Sounds like the keyboard is bad because its eating batteries up to quickly. I would probably try a good quality battery like Duracell or Energizer. If you were already using those then don't buy any. If you haven't tried those batteries then try those and see if the same thing happens, if it does then you know the keyboard would have to be replaced.

My gut feeling is when you saw the swollen battery inside of your keyboard then that was the begininng of the keyboard going bad.

A Wireless mouse is not working on the notebook, but the keyboard

Oh, men, that was the most logical solution - just to reinstall Windows. Both the keyboard and the mouse began working after a re-installation.

Thanks to everyone for the readiness to help.

Hmm...I managed to solve the problem of mouse "breaking" while playing counter strike..Its a lil technical...

1. Right Click My Computer -> Properties
2. Choose 'Hardware' tab and then 'Device Manager'
3. You should see a Yellow exclamation mark on 'Razer Copperhead USB mouse' under 'Human Interface devices'
4. Right click -> properties
-------------------------------------------------------------
I do not exactly remember the wordings of the prompts that appear after this..

5. Click on something which says "install / update driver"
6. Choose the 1st option which has something missing in one of the columns..
7. Unzip downloaded driver files on your desktop
8. Choose logical options from here...
9. At some point it will ask for "Razerlow.sys" file...
10. Click browse and go to C:\Windows\system32\drivers....you will find it there...
11. Choose logical options from here and your "breaking" problem will be solved...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This does not solve the "No mouse detected" message in configurator...but atleast you can play your favorite game :-)
