If you still have the cd set (recoovery cd's) that came with your computer insert the first disk and reboot the computer. Make sure your bios setting are set to boot from cd first. The screen will propmt you for recovery. If you do not have them you can order the recovery cd's directly from hp/compaq. they are very inexpensive.
