Question about Maytag Portable Air Conditioner M6P09S2A
I have a maytag model #M6P09S2a portable air conditioner with a top tray not draining. I also took the back cover off and don't see any drain from the top tray to the bottom tray.
I called the service tech, before Maytag stopped supporting this unit. (built by Fedders with Maytag name). Fedders has gone out of business (7-09). The tech guy said that the tray gets clogged up with crud and the solution is to try to flush the tray out with water and compressed air. I had the problem of water leaking from the trays but not properly draining through the drain hose. This solution did the trick.
