How do i remove a over the stove microwave?

On a 1-10 scale- this is a 2.
place a cardboard box on the stove to support the microwave once it is free.
Remove power cord from the outlet in the cabinet over the microwave.
In the cabinet over the microwave, locate the 2 mounting screws.
Loosen each one about 6 turns- the microwave should drop down in the front by about 1/2 inch.
Once loose, you can remove both screws completely and allow the front of the oven to rest on the cardboard box.
While supporting the front of the microwave, have a helper remove the cardboard box.
Tricky part...while supporting the front - angled slightly down, lift hard under the rear of the microwave and pull toward you.
Have a helper feed the power cord through the upper cabinet bas as you bring the microwave toward you and slightly down.
Place the microwave on the counter- with a towel in place to prevent scratching the counter.
remove the rear-wall mounted support bracket.

Paint on stove

You can use paint removers which are available with any paint shop, Normally THINNER or even turpentine will be good , try also with kerosene which is mild and will not remove too much of the inner coat.

Stove fire smoke on microwave above stove.what will clean off this smoke residue? we encountered a stove which left a heavy smoke residue on the microwave above. the microwave has a plastic handle and...

Mr. Muscle Kitchen cleaner will remove the smoke. It won't hurt the plastic. Just make sure to either wear rubber gloves or wash your hands soon after cleaning off the smoke residue. It will make the skin on your hands / fingers slick and then dry after your done. Let the cleaner sit for about a minute before trying to wipe off the smoke residue.

Remove a whirlpool over the range microwave oven

Jim here. In cabinet above microwave, locate 2 mounting bolts.
Place a box on the stove top to support the microwave once the mounting bolts are removed (you may wish to cover the box with a thick towel or small throw rug).
Procedure:
1. Unplug microwave.
2. Remove both mounting bolts from top of microwave (they secure it to the overhead cabinet).
3. With microwave front angled down onto box, pull some of power cord out of hole (to provide some moving space).
4. With microwave hand supported, remove box from stove top (a second set of hands would be helpful here).
5. HARD PART- detach top of microwave back from wall mounting plate by placing a hand under the bottom rear of the microwave and pushing up. (Wall mounting plate is screwed into the wall behind the microwave and provides both top and bottom support to the back of the microwave.)
6. Lower front of microwave until you can see about a 1-inch clearance between the top-rear of the microwave and the cabinet above it.
7. Firmly lift the microwave straight up and then bring forward. It should be free of the wall mounting plate.

How do you remove a microwave above the stove

Take the glass tray out and unplug it. Remove the 2 or three phillips screws in the top of the cabinet going into the micro. They should be towards the front. Hold up on it while removing screws. When all screws are out, let it tilt forward and lift it up off of the hooks. Some require help, so be carefull and put blankets on your stove to set it on when it first comes out.

Removing a Sharp Carosel R 1440 over the stove microwave

you should be able to do this yourself. Do you have an outlet to plug this into, or will you need to hard wire it into your apartment/house wiring/. If the former, then you should be okay. You will need a bracket/plate to mount the microwave to.
