SOURCE: BOSCH DISHWASHER RUNNING TOO LONG PROBLEM
Bosch dishwashers are designed to heat the water to temp. However it has a 3 hr default if it doesn't reach temp. Start the cycle and see if after 1 hour if the water is hot or cold. If hot, then it is heating the water and the water coming in is just too cold. You may try running the water at the sink to get it hot there first before starting the dw. If the water is cold, then your unit isn't heating the water. At this point I pull the outer door panel, find the largest wires on the control unit and put my meter leads on them then start the machine. You will see 120 volts on your meter. Start the machine in light washes and with in 10 to 15 minutes you should see 0 voltage. Than means the relay has closed in the control and the hot line of the 120 volts is being sent to the heater. If this never happens, then you have a bad control. Bosch dishwashers have a 5 yr part warranty on the electronic control. Now If you get the 0 volts, I will put my amp meter on one of the same wires and check for 9 to 11amps. If that isn't there, then you have a bad heater assy. Hope this helps
SOURCE: I have a bosch dishwasher
Error code 24 for a bosch dishwasher is either a bad pump or a plugged drain or airgap. This is where your washer connects to the plumbing system. If you are under warranty have it fixed if not I would start by seeing if your system and make sure it isn't plugged first. After that it could be the pump has failed.
Hope this helps
SOURCE: Bosch Exxcel dishwasher. Message E09 what does
Hi.
E:09 is a fault detected in the heating circuit. Try first tripping circuit breaker (or disconnecting power cord) for five minutes and see if this can clear the error.
If that does not work, call Bosch at the number listed on the dishwasher manual. The repair is not suitable for the home user.
About E:09 I quote the good clarificatory explanation given by trikidik on this website.
"E:09 relates to a fault in the heating circuit. This new range of bosch
machines do not heat the water in the same way as the older range. There
is no water pressure switch on the heater assembly as the circ pump
contains the heater in one complete unit (heat-pump). The control module
monitors the speed & current draw of the circ pump to ensure that
there is water in the sump & it is also circulating. Your machine
must be less than 2 years old, so should still be under warranty. Its
not a DIY fix, it needs an engineer to sort it, as it is probably a
fault with either the heat-pump or the control module."
Regards.
Ginko.
