Dvd player working remote not changed batteries

Turn your phone camera on and press a button on the DVD remote. If the remote is working you should be able to see the transmitting light on the remote flashing as you look at it on your camera screen. If it doesn't flash there is something wrong with the remote. If it flashes then the fault may lie with the DVD receiving the signal.

My bauhn TV screen stopped working. DVD plays sound but no picture. Can the TV be reset or rebooted

You can try unplugging the units--no picture often means the DVD has a dirty or failed optical unit.

Flashing red light Panasonic portable DVD-LA95

check the microswith near the hinge . its generally located on near the back right corner of the player , on the control surface. it looks like a very small white plastic button or pip. sometimes these stick down and look like part of the player casing, when they actually are a switch. it needs to be raised , so when the lid is closed it pushes the pip down and turns the screen off. Try prising it gently free with a pin or needle. this happened tome and i was on the verge of binning it. when i looked at the manual and it says power light flashing slowly means screen turned off.
if the light is flashing very quickly then im afraid its knackerred and just not worth repairing.
if this is helpful to you then just drop me a line at choonzy@googlemail.com
good luck

PORTABLE DVE PLAYER MODEL PDV-705

Check to see if the little button that the screen closes down on (which turns off the screen and only the screen) is stuck, or jammed under the little hole that it comes up. This button is about the size of a pin on most DVD Players4.gif, and is located very close to the screen on either side.
